Upon starting my car and going from park to reverse or any other gear, i hear a crunching sound....When actually backing out a parking space in reverse at low speeds I hear the same sound but its a constant crunching sound seemingly coming from the rear. Also around two years ago I've had my transmission rebuilt due to a torque converter failure and the only other big work done on it was the replacement of the rack and pinion. I have issues with the backend already being that when shifting and accelerating I experience a bang from the differential apperently banging against the floorboard maybe due to worn or failed mounts. It may be possible that these problems are related....? Would those be something worth replacing or should I seek to replace the complete differential...? I posed a question before pertaining to this issue but when further insight was requested the answer did address what was asked.... Any insight is much appreciated as I want to have at least an idea of what to present when taking the car to a shop....
