Shifts great from first to second. At about 35 mph I am expecting shift and it does not happen. At this point I let off gas because rpms are up and I do not want to damage engine. No codes.

Good evening.

I would verify that the TPS sensor is working correctly as that is the sensor that tells the module when to shift.

Also, when was the last time you changed the oil/filter in the transmission?? it could have a partially clogged filter.

Thank you for the quick reply. I will verify tps sensor. Transmission fluid looks pink and clear, does not look or smell burnt. I will change fluid and filter then try it out. I will get back with results.

Verified tps to change voltage as throttle moved. Changed transmission filter fresh fluid. Seems better but it still shifts down at about 35 mph.

Okay, you have covered the basics.

These transmissions are known for valve body issues. You will need to have someone check it for you to verify it is just the valve and not an internal failure.

Just to keep you updated, I took car to transmission repair shop for diagnostics, unfortunately they said transmission would need to be replaced. At this point this repair will cost more than what car is worth. Thanks again for all the help. It was a hell of a run!
