It started about four or five times ran for a few seconds then stalled. After the fifth time it will not turn over engine when key is turned to start engine. I jumped the solenoid and the engine turned over but will not start. Could not detect any gas fumes at all.

Do not get stuck on the fuel. Ninety five percent of crank/no-starts are caused by loss of fuel and spark. Check for spark, and if that is also missing, start by reading and recording the diagnostic fault codes. Chrysler made doing that yourself much easier than any other manufacturer. Cycle the ignition switch from "off" to "run" three times within five seconds, leave it in "run", then watch the code numbers appear in the odometer display. You can go here to see the definitions:

Or post them in your reply and I can interpret them for you.

Good morning.

The first thing you need to do is to determine is the fuel pump working. You will need a pressure gauge to perform this test.

You can rent one at a parts store. It sounds like you may have a failed fuel pump.
