Hi, I am changing my water pump due to it making a noise while the car is running and I can't get to all the bolts. Do you have to take most of the stuff off around it? Is there a step by step manual or websit that can show me how to do this. I am normally good with this sort of stuff but there seems to be a lot of guards etc around the water pump and I need a bit of instruction. Thanks Chris

Yes you will have to remove anything in the way of the waterpump to remove.

On some Toyota's you have to raise engine 4-6" to get the waterpump pulley off/on.
