Steering problem
1998 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 110000 miles

I have a 98 Nissan Maxima GLE, 110,000 miles or so. Bad weather today mixed with no sunlight meant I hit a curb pretty hard. The front left tire blew out and I believe the tire itself was pushed back. I got the tire replaced with a brand new tire, but the steering wheel pulls hard to the left now and when I turn left heavily it makes an odd grinding noise or something very similar. Also comparing the front tires on both sides it's evident that the left tire is further back now nearly touching the flap while the right hand side is right in the middle not touching anything. What do you recommend? I was thinking of taking it in for an alignment.

Alignment wont help. You most likely bent the lower control arm and or spindle. The alignment whop will be able to pick out the problem, just tell them ahead of time so they dont waste their time setting up the cameras to align it and then finding out anyway. Hope this helps

I tried giving you positive feedback mastertechtim but it wasn't working out so much.

Anyway how much you think it'll run me in a best and worst case scenario if it is what you described?

Best case but unlikely is 100. Most likely 300, could be as much as 800.
