Worthwhile to repair '93 Altima

My son has a Nissan Altima GXE which he bought for $1,100 a year ago. The vehicle needs a new clutch. The clutch kit will cost $400.00 and with labor he was told the cost for the repair would be about $800.00. Is it worth it to put $800.00 into this vehicle?

I would call around to some more repair shops I had a clutch replaced in a 1998 nissan 200sx and labor and everything was about 500$ and if thats the only serious prob with the car it is deffinatly worth it that car will run forever
