1998 Nissan Altima, 120,000 miles, 4 cylinder

My car has been making a screeching noise when I turn the steering wheel to the right. It is now starting to do it when you turn it to the left. The harder you turn the wheel the louder and longer the noise. It is also vibrating. I notice a slight vibration while sitting still with the car in gear and my foot on the brake. When I put it in park (with my foot still on the brake or when I let off) it stops. I just had the axles replaced due to a popping sound when turning. The repairman told me they were bent. I did not notice this vibration before they replaced the axles. However, the screeching noise was just beginning and thought maybe the axles had something to do with it. Apparantly not, because it has become much worse. Another thing my car is doing is vibrating really bad when I get to 60mph or more. Any help would be appreciated.
