My car was read by an obd 2 and the codes read, p0325, and p0303 - Knock sensor, and cylynder 3 misfire. I tried correcting the misfire by changing the plug, cap and rotor but it didn't solve the problem. The car runs rough and makes a loud noise on the passenger side when I drive it. Thats when it triggers the codes. How can I correct the problem?

We need to figure out what is causing the noise? Does it only make this noise when driving or is the noise there when stationary? Lift hood with engine running and check for any noises etc.

The noise is still there only when the car shifts gear. I still have a misfire on cylinder 3.

You really need to get this into your mechanic so he can find out exactly what is making the noise? It could be a valve broken in cylinder 3 this is the cause of the noise and the misfire? You are saying it's a LOUD noise and only happens when the car shifts gears. This doesn't sound like just a valve. Without hearing the noise I can't really diagnose the cause. It will be the noise causing the knock sensor code. Try removing the crank sensor and clean it up. This could be the cause of misfire.
