1996 Nissan 240SX 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

When I started my car yesterday I found out that my AC did not want to work unless it turned it up to the highest speed. Today, the engine light is on while I was driving. It is something major and how can I fix the engine light and ac?

If A/C works on High only then most likely you need to replace the blower motor resistor. You will have to do a diagnostic scan on the vehicle to get the trouble codes stored by the engine light. There are too many things that could cause the light to appear, to list them all here.
