Codes P0335 and P0336?

2 things. The plug or the gasket at the bottom of the map sensor was stuck and it went down inside of where it attaches to rather than coming out. I've read that that isn't an issue, is that correct? Could that still be causing the problem? My next question is P0335 is for the sensor itself. The crankshaft sensor. P0336 is for crankshaft performance. What should I do next? I need to fix this car. It seems every time I fix one thing another thing comes up.

Hi,

What symptoms are you experiencing? As far as the MAP sensor grommet, I believe that would drop into the intake manifold. If that is the case, it could cause issues.

The two codes you have are related, as you mentioned. I feel the 136 is a result of the 135 code. I attached diagnostics below. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.

Some of the Language is foreign to me. But at this point, it starts fine. It idles beautifully in park. As soon as I put it in, drive and put my foot on the gas lightly even, it goes 2 feet and stalls. I don't have something to check the fuel pressure with and I can't afford a $150 for a tool. Even though I could return it. I don't have it to put it out. The only thing I can do is check it through the Shrader valve with my finger. Which I know isn't that accurate but there's not much else I could do. I really thought Ken had it when he was the only one who came up with one or more of the accessories on the serpentine Was failing causing the pulleys to jerk back-and-forth. Which would cause the car to fluctuate widely on the RPMs. We did discover that the water pump. In the Alton, it was no good. Anyway, I'm sure you'll find my post. You can see the rest of the details, but I need a solution. I just, it's been weeks without a car testing. Intestine and not having the right tools. And I'm not really keen on taking the serpentine off. And the harmonizer, it's a big job. So, I'm trying to figure out if I can avoid having to do that job for no reason by some other method.

I'm not sure what to say. Without tests, I don't feel comfortable telling you to replace parts that may or may not be faulty.

Let's try it this way. Is there something specific you want to do that I can help you through? I'm near Pittsburgh. If I was close enough, I would try to help directly, but chances are I'm not.

I think I'm good. The connector for the crankshaft got wet when I did the water pump So once it dried, it was fine. Turns out the catalytic converter is clogged. I'm all set. Thank you
