Just got this car with less than 100,000 miles. Battery had drained on prior owner, so he put a battery in it that wasn't really big enough for it. It started the car, and it was drivable, however, the power windows, mirrors, seats, locks and trunk pop no longer work. They all worked fine before he swapped the battery. He got the right size battery afterwards and it is in there now, but all the power things still do not work. Could that have blown out the relays or is there something else that could be the problem? I am having trouble finding these relays on the website of my local auto parts store when I look under Lincoln.

Hi,

I looked through the wiring schematic for power distribution (attached below) and the fuses are all over the place. However, the first thing I need you to check is fuse 3 (40 amp) in the power distribution box under the hood.

From that fuse, power goes to the ignition switch and then gets distributed to the interior fuse box, and several other fuses and circuits.

When you check the fuse, make sure it is good and also confirm there is power to it.

Here is a link you may find helpful:

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

See pics below. Note: The schematics are 4 pages long. I had to cut them in half to make them readable for you. I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next. I highlighted where power jumps from one pic to the next so you can follow easier
