No power to the instrument cluster?

The other day I was going through a drive-through and I turned my car off so I could hear the radio at the window. When I stuck the key back in the ignition there was no power to my instrument cluster and my start stop wouldn't do anything. I thought it would be the key fob, so I put a new battery in it and nothing will happen. I've checked all the fuses and the battery is new and fully charged the interior lights come on I can turn on the radio my headlights are working. I'm not even getting a key symbol on the dashboard. My windows are stuck being down because I had them down at the time. If you could please guide me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It sounds like the Footwell module has gone out which is common in these cars, but to be sure we need to do a CAN scan, you can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is how to change the footwell module out in case a code comes up for its failure. You can get a preprogrammed unit by searching Google or Ebay.
