Recently when I’m driving slow, my VDC light will come on and it’s as if my car doesn’t want to take gas. I can switch it off and it be okay. But it’s when I go slow sometimes. And sometimes when I go faster.

Hello,

It sounds like your VDC control module is acting up, there are several things involved with the system. It should be throwing a code for which part is failing. With the fact that your getting a slow down with it the system is probably fighting itself and the brakes are engaging when they are supposed to. The CAN system should be scanned this will get us into the correct direction I attached a diagram of all the parts involved and a video link from our YouTube channel for scanning the CAN system. The speed sensors at the wheels are the component that gets the most environmental wear but to see what we should start with scanning is important.

Let me know about any codes.
