Using a noid light (can be rented/borrowed from many parts stores.) You just unplug the injector, plug in the noid light and see if it flashes. You can also do this with a test light but then you need a helper to turn the key as you hold the light.
If you connect the light, start the engine and see no flashing, you need to trace the injector wire back to the PCM, OR back probe the wire at the PCM and test there.
If no signal there you need a replacement PCM and to have it programmed.
If you connect the light and it is flashing then the injector has an issue.
