Moving off no pick up speed

I have this kia carnival 2.5 V6 which did not pick up speed when move off in stationary. The rpm will reach 3000 and the car speed is still at 20 kph which is not picking up speed. The engine start to give a loud sound. Can you help to explain what the problem. Thank you

Seems like you have a fault with the transmission. Start with a check for trouble codes.

Thank you but I send to the mechanic they claim it ok as the car is too old. Sad

Change your mechanic. Get a second opinion. What nonsense is that with the answer being the car is too old.
