Hi, I am looking to buy a car. I have seen the following advisory notes on the last MOT and wondered if these are urgent things I should get looked at and a rough idea of the cost? Nearside outer front and offside outer front constant velocity gaiters damaged. Nearside and offside lower suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated, but not causing excessive movement. Thanks in advance for your reply.

The only thing I would have done or to do yourself is the axles especially going into winter time becasue the water will cause you problems in the CV joint.

Here is a guide and video that will help you get the job done:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/replace-cv-axle

The axles are about $70.00 US each side prices my vary a bit. Labor to have them replaced should run about $150.00.

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Ken
