I have a 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spider with 88,000 miles.I just got it. When I reach the speed of between 30 and 45 mph there is a vibration that sounds like its coming from the drive train or possible rear wheels, I can't tell for sure. At lower or higher speeds the vibration is not there. When it is noticieble it sounds like its something that is off balance, like a on and off feeling. It roars then lets off the roars then lest offf in a period of a second or two. Is this a CV joint or some bearing issue? :(
