Hi, I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT Spyder with 132,000 and 3.0 V6. I just had the timing belt replaced and a new battery put in. I now have noticed that when I punch the accelerator and the car shifts into passing gear, the rpms will hit 5k but the car does not accelerate. The trans fluid looks ok and is at the appropriate level. There are no noticeable problems with shifting any other time.
