1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0 non turbo hard start

My 1999 mits eclipse non turbo 2.0 has been having trouble starting. I need to pump the gas while cranking it to get it to start sputterring even though it is fuel injected. Once it sputters, it seems to clear up and run fine until you try to start it up again. Any Ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

It is your coil I had the same issue on mmy 1998 and the service engine soon light came on and when I hooked it to the computer to read the codes it showed every sensor to be failing. I knew that there was no way all sensors failed at the same time. So I replaced the coil and that fixed the problem.
