1998 Mitsubishi Mirage low pedal

Replaced front brakes and rotors on my Mirage. I noticed afterwards that the brake pedal was braking lower then before I changed the brakes. I bled the brakes twice (once with car off),(once with car running) and did not notice a difference in the brake pedal.
The brakes will activate and stop the car, but the pedal is very close to the bottom of the floorboard. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,

sometimes when you bleed brakes the master cylinder can fail internally, as the piston travels to the bottom of the cylinder it may damage the seal on some deposits that have developed where the piston normally never travels, i would just re bleed again and if that is not any help i would consider replacing the master cyl.
