1999 Mitsubishi Lancer engine changing

I have two problem on my engine, the engine will stop if I will shift it into drive and also if I will turn on my a/c. Another problem, there, s a sound ticking on the top side of the engine. Model of my car is mitsubishi LS COUPE 16 valve.
I want to change my engine but I can't see similar model. Is there any posibility that I can change it with other model like an engine of a magna or an evo

Yes you can swap an engine from 98-02 Mirage or 02-06 Lancer. It is possible to swap the Evo engine but you will need the drivetrain, custom motor mounts, ecu, wiring harness, brakes, suspension, etc. You will pretty much be converting to an evo, so it will be a lot cheaper an easier to buy one instead.
