When I am going 25 mph my car shudders. As long as I am under or over 25 mph it drives perfectly. I had the tires replaced and balanced, still shudders. Since I know little to nothing about cars, I wanted to ask you guys first before I head to a shop.

Does the car continue to do this at any speed over 25MPH? Does it seem as the engine is missing or a problem with the drive line? Where do you feel it most, in the steering or the seat of the car? Finally, have you had the motor mounts and / or trans mounts checked? Has the check engine light ever come on?

Let me know.

Joe

No the car only does it at 25 mph. I don't hear or feel a miss, the car shifts fine, drives fine. I can feel it in the steering wheel but mostly in the seat of the car. I have not had the motor mounts or trans mounts checked but I will. The check engine light has come on. I took it to AutoZone where they hooked it up to some machine and they told me it was the Oxygen Sensor and it wasn't a big deal? Is it a big deal? Will this be really expensive to repair?

Yes, the O2 sensor can cause driveability problems It's not a hard part to replace and the part isn't too expensive. You should replace it. Also, let me know what you find out about the motor mounts and trans mounts.
