I've just fixed the same problem with my car. At first I thought it might be a rely or some other kind of malfunction in the AC CPU. But in the back of my mind I knew it was probably mechanical. So I took apart all of the in dash paneling so I could see the AC vent unit. Sure enough it was the vent selector that is located on the Driver side. If you are handy then all you have to do is unscrew the hood latch screws, and the other screw just next to it. Then unscrew the other screws holding the driver side knee panel. Then you have to remove the grey side panel the goes from the upper side of the center dash down the side of the seat. It's a curvy piece. It's just held in by plastic push-screw things. Once you remove those two pieces you should be able to see under the dash just above the Cars CPU. You should be able to see the servo and two little metal arms. On my car the little guy got off track. I moved it back into place and it was fixed! It sounds like you are having the same trouble so I hope this helps!
