1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT flashing brake and battery light

My check engine light has been on for the past month and nothing seems to be wrong until recently the brake and battery lights have started occasionally flashing. I have a new alternator and the belts seem to be fine my battery cables are not loose and there is no corrosion so I was wondering what else could be wrong?

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.
