1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT transfer case interchangeability

1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Manual

The oil leaked out of my transfer case and it fried.   I have found one on e-bay that I think would work.   But they say its for a 91 to 93.   Its a 25 spline like mine.   Is there a difference?   Is the bolt pattern different?   The price is right and its low milage, byt I dont want to get just to send back.
