My car has a really bad leak in it. It looks like it's dripping right behind the pulley that is right behind the driver side wheel. I'll go through about a gallon of antifreeze in about two or three days. I was just wondering if you could tell me where the leak could be and about how much you think it would cost to fix.

Hi there,

You will need to get this pressure tested and inspected by a mechanic to confirm the diagnosis, but if it is a water pump you will be looking at around $150.00 for a new pump
$ 22.00 for a thermostat
$140.00 for a timing belt if require

nd coolant and any other hoses that may need replacing , the labour would be in the order of about 6 Hrs to do the pump, thermostat and timing belt.
( all costs and labour times taken from Mitchell 1 )
