Transmission problem
1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

i am trying to buy this car from a guy but he says that the first and second gears just went out, so obviously I need to replace the transmission or something. What are my options for getting this car fixed and how much am I looking at spending here to get it running in good condition. Besides this problem its a good car.

Hi there, with out having the box apart on the bench there is no way of knowing what the problem is, the best you can do is maybe try your local transmission repairer for a price on a re co change over gear box, and price a clutch at the same time as it will be an opportune time to replace it if it has been in for some time.
