When driving upgrade engine misses

Going up an upgrade, it misses like it is not getting enough gas.

Hi,

When this is happening, does the check engine light stay on or flash? If it does, then we need to scan the computer to determine which cylinder is causing the issue and then focus on that cylinder.

I realize most people don't own a scanner, but most times, a parts store will do it free of charge. Have that done and let me know what code or codes are found. Also, if the check engine light isn't staying on, let me know.
