No check engine light but there is a misfire on cylinder 5 based on scanner. You can tell there is something going on but the degree of feeling a misfire. Is there something other than coils that is common on these? And is 5 on front or rear? It has a tick that am going to fix, the infamous lifters.

Hello,

The number 5 cylinder is located on the back, driver side of the engine. See attached location and firing order.

You could have a misfire due to coil, corroded or worn plug. It can also be due to a bad connection between the coil and the plug.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
