Considering purchasing used Mini Cooper

The Mini Cooper rates about average for reliability. However, there is one thing that you should know and consider. The vehicle is manufactured by BMW, which are excellent vehicles, but the maintenance and upkeep can get a bit pricey. Additionally, for the vehicle's size, fuel economy seems a bit low. What I would suggest is to start checking prices for replacement parts that can be damaged, need repaired, or are general maintenance items. If you do not do the work yourself, contact your mechanic and ask for a general price. For example, if a headlight assembly is damaged by debris on the road, what would it cost to replace. If you want original equipment parts, I think you will be surprised as to what it cost.
