I jump started the car since it had been sitting awhile. The car ran fine for about 10 minutes and then died (no sputtering). Jumped it again and let it idle in the driveway and again it died after about 10 minutes. My thoughts are a flat battery or the alternator is gone. Any thoughts?
Thanks

you could have a bad alternator BUT you must have a good battery inorder for the alternator to work properly. Best thing to do is take it to an auto parts store and have it charged first though, they can check the battery to see if it is any good. If you charge it and get a reading of 12.20 volts with a digital volt meter, then trash it and get another. Then you can check the alternator. You could also have a plugged fuel filter as well.
