The shift indicator does not work. Just stays in the park position so I have to shift by feel. How much do you think it may cost to fix and is it something a layman like myself could do?

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation, this is a cable operated system, reading the procedure on Mitchell 1 it does look some what involved, unfortunately they do not give a time or price to do this, a call to a dealer or a general work shop should be be able to quote this, as I am in Australia, I have no access to this information apart form the Mitchell 1 data base we use on site, get a few quotes and compare prices.
