1996 Mercury Tracer The fan

My fan seems to have stoped running I know that one time someone was looking at my car and they were messing around and the fan popped on. I don't know if it was on it's last leg or if there is just a fuse or some wiring problems. This car doesn't have a fan belt does it?

Hello -

To better assist you is your model just the Tracer or the LTS and what is your engine size in liter. Check the fan electrical connection. Also check to see if the fan comes on when you put on the air conditioner. It may have blown a fuse or relay, check all of them.
