Hi. The ground wire at the A/C blower motor switch has burnt.I replaced the ground wire and blower motor resister. I noticed that this ground wire gets hot when the blower motor switch is on high. Is this related to the high current draw of the blower motor? Should I try a heavier ground wire and or install a relay at the blower motor?

Check the rest of the ground path for resistance should be less then half a volt on the groudn side after the resistor.

Check the amp draw of the blower motor and teh blower motors resistance. It will be dragging out too much current due to low resistance and melt it. Dont put bigger or you can cause a fire
