Factory anti theft alarm

My 2000 sable has approx 95,000 miles of useage. It has recently developed the problem of self triggering the alarm at regular intervals when it is locked. It is annoying my neighbors and my local mechanic cannot fix it. Any ideas as to a solution. Thanks

With the proper scanning equipment the system can be read for codes and put in self-diagnostic. That is the best way to find the problem. If you would like to read up ,ore about it
