Almost 2 years ago i bought a 02 mercury sable with the 3.0 duratech DOHC engine, with 13,000miles. after owning in for a year and about 50,000 mile i put a k&n direct fit air filter, a magneflow exhaust, and cut out the catalac converter. tryin to get more horsepower. FIRST question what would you recommend to do next for more performance after noticing the rpm getting way to high before transmission changes(normally while punching the gas) SECOND question i got some water in my one of my spark plug slots today and didnt notice untils drivin for about 5 minutes. I got the water out and all dry but still runin real slugish, havent driven since except up and down the street. check engine light is not on but battery was unhooked for little while before happening any advise for either problem with be extremely appricated.
