The problem started out with the loss of power to the engine, EBS brake and low gas light coming on and the radio not working. Also noticed that the interior lights were dim. The car would do this intermitantly untill the battery was dead. I repaced the battery and 1 week later the same problem. Im thinking its the alternator but I wanted some other opinions or maybe a test that I can perform on alternator. Any ideas?

I read that procedure earlier and I notice that it checks the voltage but what about the amps that the alternator puts out? Can the volts be good but the amps not and if so how would I know without a test to run?
