2001 Mercury Sable Automatic 79000 miles

my car makes a chirping sound when it runs. I notice it when I start it, and while I am driving as well. It sounds like it is coming from the righthand side of car, but I honestly can't tell. I can't hear it from inside of car when I highway - only when I just start it or when I am outside of car.
