Air Conditioning problem 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 95,000 miles

Hi Boys, I maintain this car meticulously and drive it highway daily. Last week the battery died, got a jump and went to the dealer and they replaced the Battery. Since then Ive noticed that when Im driving the auto temp is fine on the air conditioner but when I stop at a light it seems to blow warm air until I pick up speed again. No noises etc, just the AC isn't working properly when idle?

It sounds like you have a low charge on the air conditioner, here are a couple of guides that will help you get the air conditioner working again.

During extreme heat ac will not get cold. It has the correct charge. Works great up to about 85 /90 degrees.

Hello,

It sounds like the ac compression has gone out or has weak seals. Here is a guide that will show you what you are in for when doing the job.
