2007 Mercury Milan Rear Brake Pad Replacement

I've replaced brake pads on the front of numerous vehicles, foreign and domestic. Now the rears on my Milan need replacement & I am hesitant inasmuch as it is AWD and the the parking brake is integral to the calipers. Any guidance would help. Tks
