I have a strong smell of gas at the rear of the car, I have noticed a drip between the rear wheels. I was told that the fuel lines are rusted and rotting and need to be replaced. My question is how long of a job is this and the big concern is how much to replace the fuel lines?
Thank you for all your help

Any fuel leak is potentially dangerous. It is most likely the fuel lines are the problem, but don't be surprised if the fuel tank is leaking.

As far as a a price, it really is based on how much of it needs replaced, what parts need removed to replace them, and labor rate. The parts are cheap it is the labor that will cost you.
