one of the fuel lines that run into the carberator has a clean split any fixes i can do without replacing the line

No, you don't have a carburetor. Your engine is fuel injected making that a high pressure line that has to be strong enough so rubber won't work. Replacing the line or at least a section of it is what has to be done.
