1990 Other Mercedes Benz Models idle thathas a hesitation

I have a random hesitation in the motor at idel and while driving at all speeds. I had my mechanic replace the injectors and I replaced the plugs. I do not want to spend hundreds of dollars trouble shooting the problem. Please advise

I would say have the engine compression check to rule out the condition of the engine. Once this is done than we can determine where to go from there. Get the readings and comeback with it-
