1983 Mercedes Benz 380sel Master cylinder

Ive removed my master cylinder as its faulty, and commenced pulling it apart, removed circlip to take out first piston, no problem. Second piston different story it seems that something is holding it in place, not allowing it to come out, ive looked and looked for a pin or clip that could be holding in. Any tips its probably easy once youve done one

Hi there,

I think that you will find that there is a bolt under the reservoir, I think that the reservoir is just held in place with rubber "O" rings and it should just pop off with a little effort, just also check 0n side the filler for a locating bolt, it has been a while since I worked on these, I can go and check a manual later if needed.
