White smoke is an indication of a blown headgasket. Check your dipstick and look for a milky color in your oil or an oil presence in your coolant. These are some ways to check for a blown head gasket. As for the misses I would recommend replacing the fuel filter as well since this vehicle has sat for so long. Keep in mind that if fuel was left in the tank you may need to replace the fuel pump as well.
