I'm so glad I found your site. Great site by the way. I have a problem with my car and don't want to spend too much on it. A few months ago my husband was putting gas in the car and was putting regular gas instead of premium he caught himself and then added premium. Well we didn't use the car for a while and when I started using it again when I would push on the gas to accelerate my car started stalling a bit. Then it turned off on me and I turned it on again and it ran. When I push on the gas it doesn't accelerate. I took it to the mechanic and he said it could be the fuel filter so I bought it but he said that my car has 1 on the inside and 1 in the outside. So he only changed 1. Now he says that it could be the fuel pump. I dont' know what to believe now. Could it be the fuel pump? Filter? Can you please help. Thank you

Its pretty simple to check if a fuel pump works or not, maybe your mechanic is not familiar with this car. You might want to get a second opinion. **Dont get mad at your husband, it has nothing to do with him putting in the wrong grade of gas. Hope this helps

So if its not the fuel filter, can it be something else? My husband thinks is the regulator or something. I'm just not sure any more. But my car just runs for about 10 minutes and it gives up.
