I ordered a mechanical fuel pump for my Mercruiser. The question I have is the pieces that the fuel lines hook to are not on the new one. And I’m not sure if the old ones come off I tried and they will not budge. Do they come off, or how do I order them?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

I have a feeling you have the wrong site. Is this for a boat or an SUV?

Let me know.

Please look over and correct the nomenclature of your vehicle and post it below. It's hard to look up stuff using the wrong information!

Welcome back:

I understand. The problem is everything I have related to this engine has an electric fuel pump in the fuel tank. However, if you can upload a few pictures, I can try my best. I am familiar with mechanical fuel pumps and may be able to answer your question. Also, can you tell me if the places that the new pump doesn't have the same connections are threaded? This may be simple to solve.

Let me know.
