The horn on my '98 Mazda ProtegeLX, 4 cylinder, quit working all of a sudden. It makes a clicking sound when the button is depressed. It has aproximately 47, 000 miles on it. I am a disabled retiree living on $700 a month so sorry for no donation. My son says with the clicking it can't be the relay or fuse. Could the horn be defective & where is it located on the car? If so, can I buy a used one & have it replaced? Thank you, anniek

The horn is located in front of the rad. Sure it can be defective. Yes you can replace it with one from a scrap yard, thats what I would do.
