2007 Other Mazda Models Unleaded car converted to Diesel,HEL

I bought a Mazda 2 from the auction a couple of days ago and i got it pretty cheap because the owner had converted the car to diesel when it clearly needed unleaded to run. Can someone give me the cheapest solution to get this car back on the road.

Are you saying he just put diesel fuel in a gasoline engine?

If so, you will need to remove entire fuel system, (tank, fuel feed and return lines, filter, injectors, fuel rail) and clean them all out.

You will have to replace the O2 sensors and the convertor.

The diesel fuel nozzle at the gas station will not fit in a gasoline car (it is larger diameter).
