1996 Mazda MX6 the water pump removal

the car over heated but the over flow tank is full so i checked the raidor and it was empty so i added some fulid to it and the fulid was draining out of it i have had to change the harmonic balancer a few weeks ago and it looks as if its coming from behind it? is the water pump near the balancer and if it is where can i find a diagram on how to replace it? any advice will help
